| Abstract |
We show how a suitable regularization of the Reidemeister
torsion and of the analytic torsion of the conical frustum over an odd
dimensional closed manifold M give the intersection torsion and the
analytic torsion of the cone over M, respectively. We describe the same
result in terms of Ray and Singer metrics.
