We construct tight contact structures on the Weeks manifold W, the closed hyperbolic 3–manifold with smallest volume. The contact structures are constructed through contact surgery diagrams involving contact (±1)–surgeries. The tightness of these contact structures are verified by showing that the contact Ozsváth–Szabó invariants of the structures are nonzero.
